Gold Standard Natural Whey delivers all the quality protein and flavour of their standard whey, yet with all-natural ingredients. This product is naturally sweetened with stevia extract and contains only natural flavours, offering the advantages of aminogen and lactase to ensure more complete digestion, enhanced bioavailability and rapid absorption.
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey delivers primarily high quality whey protein isolate as the main protein source. This Natural Whey Protein also contains ultra-filtered whey protein concentrate naturally high in BCAA’s essential to protein synthesis.
This combination of WPI/WPC means every 32g scoop of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey delivers a hard hitting 24g of muscle-building protein enabling both a fast and slow release of amino acids to kick-start and maintain the anabolic process. Also delivering more than 4g of glutamine and glutamic acid make catabolism a thing of the past ensuring your gym sessions are resulting in lean muscle gains.
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey contains zero artificial flavours or sweeteners making the perfect protein choice for health conscious athlete in everyone. Build muscle the natural way with Gold Standard Natural Whey!
Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey vs Gold Standard 100% Whey
These products contain the same whey proteins: whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate and whey peptides (whey hydrolysate). So you are definitely not missing out on anything if you go all natural here. These are both premium quality protein blends from Glanbia.
The main difference between the 2 products is that the regular Gold Standard 100% Whey contains a mixture of natural and artificial flavours while Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey contains natural flavours only. Also, the natural version of this protein contains rebaudioside A, which is a natural sweetener extracted from stevia. The standard version contains acesulfame potassium, an artificial sweetener.
It is also interesting to note that Gold Standard Natural 100% Whey contains lactase, the enzyme that digests lactose or milk sugar. This will make it easier for anyone with lactose intolerance to tolerate. In addition, the natural version contains Aminogen, a natural blend of protease enzymes. These enzymes literally break down protein chains in the whey making the product more bioavailable. This means more results for the same amount of protein, which is good news.
Despite the fact that there are only 3 flavours with the natural version, I'd be inclined to choose this product over the standard version given that it has been optimised for bioavailability.
